#Frensham Great Pond snackbar is closing on September 2nd. I used to go here a lot, especially in Winter (their chips would keep me warm) but haven't been for years. The bluegreen algae in the lake isn't helping business, and some of the customers have apparently been abusive.

The park was thriving at 9 PM yesterday. Allison and her gang were busy chatting at their bench with Billy and Truffles giving everyone company. The children's play area was full of kids, including my niece and sister. A gang of teenagers were laughing out loud and chilling on the grass (they took over the swings as soon as the last kids moved on). Young couples were lacking strolling with their kids or dogs. A few lads were lazily laying on the grass occasionally knocking around a football.
Everyone was happy to be out after the heat relented. And that happiness was infectious 🙂
