#municipalelections — Public Fediverse posts

I'm supporting Sasha Izard in upcoming municipal Saanich elections. My family is voting for several new people, who are campaigning against longtime status quo Mayor & council in Saanich. We need more people on Saanich council who are willing to fight against retaining status quo because that doesn't help majority of constituents who are mostly blue collar workers & not super privileged. We need more council members who won't keep voting for more SPD budget increases without any true public transparency or public accountability for all their bad apples still rotting barrels & on payroll for too long. We need more council members who aren't sharing same, lets-personally-profit from more bad deals with real estate developers mindsets, putting environmental concerns on back burners & then violating protection nature covenants. Enough is enough.
