¡Me ha llegado la nueva lana! En este caso he optado por probar la textura de DROPS Paris. Me parece una lana un poco dura para trabajar, es 100% algodón.
Estoy intentando hacer un gorro a dos colores para el invierno, de momento parece otra cosa así que veremos xD el gorro de la derecha es uno de referencia.

Se viene segundo intento lanitero: DROPS Paris negro y morado para un gorrito de invierno. El morado es Fabel para una bufanda y el relleno para futuros amigurumis.
El set de agujas me lo han regalado, me parece super bonito.

Guante finalizado! Nadie niega que se puede utilizar, pero es verdad que se queda a mucho por pulir.
Algunos dedos los he hecho más largos, el hueco entre el índice y el corazón está demasiado alto y el fruncido de la muñeca es muy pequeño. Sin embargo, he aprendido mucho. Es mi primer patrón a medida (terrible experiencia, lo deshice 3 veces, no más guantes hasta unos meses). He utilizado lana de 4mm.

Hay que tener en cuenta que soy principiante así que quiero algo más bien barato. En una mercería me cobraron casi 9 euros por 200g, una lana de 4mm. ¿Me timaron o es el precio real?

Me ha costado asumirlo porque me daba mezcla de pena, pereza y coraje pero he deshecho todo el frontal del guante que estaba haciendo de lana porque los dedos los había hecho demasiado finos y al empatar el otro lado no iba a caber un dedo ni de coña.
Notas mentales para coser un guante: medir la muñeca, el largo y ancho de cada dedo y de cada hueco entre dedos.

Federal officials are considering whether to list conch as threatened under the Endangered Species Act. “The extraction from the world’s largest seagrass ecosystem has been immense,” says Andrew Kough, a marine biologist at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. Some conch are secure in remote or deep water, other older specimens [up to 35 cm in diameter] can become camouflaged with algae + coral growing on their shells. 'Because of overexploitation, conch fishing was banned in Florida in 1975.' In 1992, international trade of conch was regulated by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). Today, numbers are dwindling across almost all its range, + larvae are not dispersing adequately to maintain gene flow between residual local populations. Some populations are still reproducing in the Bahamas, Jamaica + a few other sites. In my view, past time to take fishing pressure off another marine species. #conch #extinction
