#nixos #flakecheck has often #oom -ed my #thinkpad devices and using my #supermicro server shows that it uses up to 22 Gb #RAM (of 42 in use at the time) if given free reign, which explains just how demanding flake check is, and even then does not finish #build fast but takes 10 mins. Often one has to set the #maxjobs to 1 and #cores to 2 and set up #swap and #zram to prevent oom on smaller machines like old thinkpads. #flakes
