#Zulip looks really good at first glance -
Granted not everything can or must fit everyone.
I personally use #XMPP+#OMEMO for 1:1 chats and have deployed and maintained several #Zulip / https://zulip.com instances as a #corporate & #organizational chat, as it's more user-friendly than #IRC yet also allows for the necessary granularity and auditability.

@taseroth Just to be sure, there is a vibrant #Antora community via https://antora.zulipchat.com/ where the core people are very responsive and helpful in either how it can be done, or why it doesn't fit the design concept 🙂
I would write a page as `pages/topic-a.adoc` and put page-specific images under `images/topic-a/image1.png` etc.
Also because so far the Intellij Asciidoc/Antora plugin I use does a great job at updating (refactoring) sources and references when renaming things.

We back at it again, for the second time today, working on @pidgin 3.0 Alpha 2. Earlier today we got DMs working in #Zulip but we found a few things to fix in libpurple which we're going to work on tonight! Come on by!!

No shade to the video and other alternatives. They're cool and all and I hope more people move out of Discord so it burns to the ground and never recover again, but I'm 100% confident nobody will talk to me regardless if I use any alternatives to Discord so I'm not seeing myself using one of these anytime soon. It's just pointless for me haha

Before I stopped using it, I told everyone to leave my discord channel because of mental issues. That shit made me feel even more lonely than not using it cos nobody talks to me.
I've always had this trouble with IM's. I guess I'm not very interesting. Now with that age verification crap, I'm not using that thing anymore.

I really hope Discord fucking burns to the ground. Apart from 100% of people using that crap, that place's full of really messed up weirdos and child exploiters, same with Roblox
I did have Matrix back in 2022 but nobody talked to me with that thing so I got rid of it and last time I used Discord was back in December 2025.
