Regent goons appointed by Gov. Abbott are responsible for this. +$77 million buyout for a lousy coach. Shameful.
Jimbo Fisher buyout leaves Texas A&M holding the bag on biggest Aggie joke of all time
Texas A&M spent millions to move to the SEC, just to pay someone millions to not coach there.

Is anyone able to lay their hands on a firmware image for a Samsung Ubigate IBG1004?
It’s an #isdn to #sip #telephone gateway, and the one I’ve got seems to be corrupt and won’t decompress.
My usual haunts for firmware images are coming up blank.
The filename will be something like `iBG1004_Advanced_1.6.1.9.Z` - but I'm really not too fussy about the version number!
Please boost if you think you have followers that can help!

Are there any #Telecoms folk out there who have a copy of the documentation for an ancient #ISDX DLI card, part No 871/2/06561/004
I want to check what signalling the 06561/004 variant supports
I've got the docs for the 06562/004 which I think is similar (but later?) card - but I'm wary of extrapolating...
I wouldn't normally ask, but please boost for reach?

I need a proper name for my #isp2go project. Right now, isp2go is just an internal codename. Please drop your fancy name ideas in the comments - I’m happy about every suggestion. Later, I’ll run a poll with the most-favourited ones.
:blobfoxhappymlem: Boosts appreciated!
TL;DR: It’s a portable ISP in a 19" rack on wheels, e.g. for nerdy events. It still needs a real ISP for upstream, but it’s made for quick infrastructure setup and a bit of retroness (having your own DSL network is kinda cool, right?).
It includes a DSLAM (DSL broadband with your favourite modem), a PBX for local analog and VoIP telephony, a 48-port 10G switch, and a server. The server handles the firewall (PPPoE server, #cghmn VPN, routing stuff), hosting some on-site HTTP services like a customer dashboard (as you probably know from your own real ISP), and more.
A 56k dial-up service is also planned! (ISDN too, if I can get the provider side compact enough.)

Not sure why I'm on a fiery #SysAdminNightmares kick tonight - I blame @j 😎
So we onboarded a client who was still running Server 2000 and WinXP... Over 10Base2 Coax. ☠️ Their app worked for them 🤷♂️ So we rewired the entire office & upgraded their server/workstations. Gigabit Ethernet, Security Gateway, the whole works (well except the PBX because.. budget). Small office - everything was in a small alcove - it turned out nice. Server sat on a raised platform below. 1/3

It might be an unpopular opinion but #banggood #woodworking tools to not harm #Woodpecker sales from my point of view.
I was never going to buy a Woopecker tool, so they've lost no customer, and zero dollars. -
The main PBX is going down now. Collecting, cleaning, sorting and storing stuff may take some time. So we are still on Site for a while. #why2025 #why2025camp #thc2029

Getting some work done jamming out to #Placebo tonight.
This was my first song by them - Nancy Boy. Nobody should be surprised I was hooked on first listen.

The #kintree ( https://github.com/sparkmicro/Ki-nTree ) bug for some LCSC components has been fixed. #hurrah
It really does make working with Inventree so much easier. -

These are a group of 4 relay sets that bridge between an #ElectroMechanical #strowger #TelephoneExchange and an electronic #PBX
I designed/installed them at the #DeanForestRailway (UK) back in December, but they didn’t work.
I built them with UAX style “dis testing” of free outlets, but the exchange is PABX4 based, and uses “battery testing” - so they were all permanently marked as busy… oops!
New springsets, extra resistor and lots of rewiring to do, so they’re back on my bench for rework!

Looking for 'first oscilloscope' suggestions. Preferably inexpensive. Current need is to measure the current consumption of one of my boards so some kind of trigger/snapshot capability might be nice. #electronics #IHaveNoIdeaWhatImDoing -
In case you haven't come across the "bare Git repo" style of #dotfile management — I recommend it. Simple, sturdy, portable, low overhead.

@TT_392 Have you got any recommendations for somehting not so tight on the fit. What I'm really looking for is a 2 pin connector that I can mount to an enclosure (male one side female the other) and slot the two together. 24v 6amps max. I looked at magnetic pogo pin type things but voltage/amperage were less than half of what I wanted.
Extra points if they are round rather than rectangular (pref <=10mm).

Any other longtime #Macos users remember the "secret" slo-mo window minimize effect? It was done by shift-clicking the yellow (minimize) button. Apple disabled it many years ago, but as #daringfireball reveals, it's actually still there!
TLDR: `defaults write com.apple.dock slow-motion-allowed -bool YES; killall Dock`
