I suppose I'm back now that FediLab is behaving again.
Been shoulder-deep in NiteFlirt and my job satisfaction is through the roof.
We've also been in the process of moving LP2 into my home and my former NP out.
I got LP2's cats (I call them the Bang Bros) fixed on Friday, so I'm lounging around his old place supervising them so they stay in their cones.

Yay, Local 2 & I made our partnership official last night!
Also nice saying "I love you" in person after I delayed bringing it up last week.

This might be a little jumbled, I'm parsing these thoughts for the first time.
As BPD people aren't a monolith and there are a few "subtypes" of presentation,
there's an inherent explosiveness assumed by most people & docs W/O BPD
and if you have #QuietBPD like me, you may lack.

Specifically, I think we should use that knowledge to support #trans people better

I worked on my gender anthology piece even though I wanted to hibernate.
L2 is coming over for another date on Saturday, can't think of better Xmas Eve company 💝

There's not a shred of dignity awarded to you in these spaces if you are viewed as noncompliant.
They even threatened to withhold indoor bathroom access from all of us if one woman who compulsively flushed entire rolls of toilet paper didn't stop.
The social work education taught me a lot about the difficulties of running things like this, but it didn't prepare me for such callous treatment.
And when you're a client, you don't speak up because then you're out too. #SCWOTZ

I watched this happen in day shelters and emergency night shelters often.
Instead of de-escalating, I've seen shelter staff kick out people for obvious mental illness symptoms the minute they seemed disruptive/distressed,
then call the pigs when the person just wanted the staff to give them their items from inside the day shelter.
The way we are treated when we are homeless is foul. The dehumanization is cruel #SCWOTZ
