This must be how the robot wars start. AI defense tools fighting AI #robocallers, and the AI on both sides improving offensive and defensive skills geometrically until they destroy everything. I predict the robocaller AI will win and rule the world.

Finished "How to Measure Anything in #Cybersecurity #Risk" book this AM. As a #securityarchitect, it really helped encourage me. The key points 1) it's about reducing uncertainty, not atomically precise numbers; & 2) I don't need huge amounts of data to extract valid measurements, and I have more data avail already than I think I do - were both HUGELY comforting and helpful.
Oh, and lastly - metrics are for decisions, that's it. If they don't lead to decisions, why collect them?

I'm on a steering committee for state govt on #governance over #ai #llm and #machinelearning adoption. Of all 65 agencies, the only ones who jumped in with both feet are #environmental agencies - #naturalresources, #ecology, #fishandwildlife. Not sure what it means, but I find it such an interesting anecdote.
