Last night, I was out in downtown Bellingham. As I was waiting for a crosswalk light to turn, a large group of young people crossed toward me and I heard one of them ask the group, "What's your favorite megafauna?"

Last week, I noticed over a dozen new Flock cameras had been added to the #DeFlock map on one of our main streets here in #BellinghamWA. It surprised me as I'm through that area regularly and never saw them. Happy to see they were just misidentified, and a vigilant OSM user has since corrected the tags.
We're back to just having the cameras around the big box hardware stores.

The most #BellinghamWA thing just happened to me.
I told a friend I was leaving the bar after a hiphop show to go home and eat non-dairy ice cream. The door person overheard me and asked what kind of non-dairy ice cream. Ben and Jerry's Phish Food was acceptable, but I got some recommendations for next time.

If you think anything happened to your ballot, print a replacement! Don't worry about voting "twice", if they receive two ballots for your name they will reject the first one and only tally your votes from the second one. So when in doubt: do a replacement ballot!

I'm seeing a lot of reports of mailbox break-ins in #BellinghamWA (hard to tell if it's any more than usual).
A reminder to everybody to check your ballot status at votewa.gov frequently during election season! You can see when it was mailed to you, & when they received it (or not) after you've mailed it back. You can print a replacement ballot and mail it in again (or ideally drop it in an official drop box).

In #BellinghamWA it'll be at 1:00 at Maritime Heritage Park (not the usual Federal Bldg or City Hall).
Hitting the streets peacefully in huge numbers is an important part of how we push back, so make a sign and come get loud.

This is exactly the situation we have in #BellinghamWA; our 7 recorded Flock ALPRs are split between Home Depot and Lowes, with two of the HD ones pointed entirely at the public street, and not covering their lot or entrances.
