After some failed attempts with #Transdev, I got an e-ticket to try their new busses (and visit @BlackMinaFZ8 !)
The e-ticket is a PDF with an #Aztec code in it. That decodes to an odd string of unreadable characters that I can't even replicate in an Aztec generator.
I've seen a talk before about European public transport e-tickets, but couldn't find info on aztec codes.
The nerd in me really wants to convert it to a #pkpass file, but allas. -

The #python library #aiohttp uses #yarl for URLs internally, and yarl normalizes URLs by default. It silently decodes some %-encoded characters in the query string that do not strictly need to be encoded.
Sounds harmless, but it isn't. Changing the URL breaks any protocol that signs important aspects of a HTTP request for security.
Took me a while to find this bug. I usually expect an HTTP client library to not silently manipulate the URLs before sending a request. Smarter is not always better

I'm sure I've tried rtl_433 before, but looking at it again I'm super impressed by the lengthy list of over-the-air data protocols it decodes for weather stations, tire pressure measurement sensors, energy meters, water leak detectors, and so on and so on.

By alternating between the two cores, this problem is avoided. And many applications can easily be split into twoth reads sharing the same memory.
