As we open Women's History Month, we honor a soprano whose voice and artistry defined an era. ✨ Lucine Amara's portrayal of Leonora di Vargas in Verdi's La Forza del Destino—based on the Spanish drama Don Álvaro o la fuerza del sino—became iconic. She performed this tragic Spanish noblewoman over 50 times at The MET. ✨

-Esophageal cancer (adenocarcinoma) increased 733% in the past 40 years.-Chronic heartburn, among other symptoms can increase the risk of esophageal cancer.
-Symptoms often occur once cancer spreads and is difficult to treat
-No routine screenings exist to improve early detection of esophageal cancer.
