First time with them. No idea how I ended up with the fastest group. Ripped 100k with them averaging 30+kph (19mph) and made PR for 50k (32kph for that). I actually wasn't sure if I could do this because my fitness level had been pretty rough being lazy and not training during the winter. I guess I still got some LOL. Even pulled the group for about 1 mile LOL.
Weather was so weird today. It was warm in the early morning, even got very hot during lunch sitting in the sun in Stow. But the temperature took a nose dive right after lunch and it was horrendous headwind all the way back to Dorchester. Worst part was around Hascom and Mass ave across Lexington, Arlington and Cambridge. It was almost like a wind tunnel. Cold and very unpleasant.
