The number of #ElectricBuses is noticeably higher in town now. Apart from being quieter, they seem to be able to accelerate more smoothly too. As a #Cyclist, the biggest thing I’ve noticed is that, when you have to wait behind one at a traffic light junction, you don’t get a lung-full of noxious #DieselFumes and so it makes #cycling even more of a pleasure. I think the bus company is aiming to replace all urban diesel buses by next year. Bring it on.

I'm a #cyclist (and a driver).
In a few places drivers have tried to push me into the rut where glass pieces etc can collect and where I might collide with the kerb.
So now I ride in the center of the road in those places.
Some drivers are impatient overtaking and cutting in too quickly again forcing me to the side.
So now I accelerate as they overtake forcing them to cut in at a reasonable distance instead.

Silhouettes on Henry Street
I was waiting on Henry Street and spotted the deep shadows cast by the buildings, so it occurred to me that silhouettes would become a good subject for a photo. Luckily, a Deliveroo cyclist came along then and I captured him motionless as he rode past....
