As a (progressive) Catholic since 1942, I have yet to see ANY authentic Christian values modeled or promoted by “Christian Nationalists.”Non-violence, forgiveness, care for the poor, the hungry, the homeless, the migrant, respect for human dignity for all, inclusiveness, care for the aged, for prisoners, the sick, peace — these are Gospel values that are never reflected in either policy or praxis by this MAGA-GOP administration & supporters.
Hypocrisy is not a virtue.

I may be a minority of one, but I’m fairly certain a #Democratic Congress is going to be so occupied with putting our Humpty-Dumptified country back together (restoring the concept of the rule of law in the DOJ, stopping the senseless wars, REFORMING IMMIGRATION POLICIES, containing the grift, re-establishing int’l alliances, feeding our hungry kids, seniors & disabled people, writing USAID checks, starting from ground-level science departments, & unfucking all the enshittification) that prosecutions will be put on hold.
I’m certain a certain Felon will never be held responsible. I’d like to believe the second tier thugs may be, but they’re all trickier & slipperier than Dems.

I’m happy to see this from someone with a large voice. There hasn’t been nearly adequate public outcry about the despicable sheer immorality of this entire administration, including SCOTUS. Way too much is framed in terms of economic pain instead of the degradation of our collective morals & ethics. American citizens/residents/taxpayers are actively funding this horror and we share in the unforgivable brutality to the extent that we don’t resist barbaric actions.I wonder where the “money saved” through funding cuts has gone, especially since our debt has skyrocketed.
