I can especially recommend @Krita as a #Photoshop alternative!
Sure, it might lack some features but for what I do (light #image editing) it's super good I'm especially blown away by the fact that it seems to be able to deal with #colorprofiles for #printing quite well (quite a pain in Linux in general).
(Inkscape and Scribus are not really alternatives to PS in my opinion and I prefer #Krita over #Gimp in most cases.)

die idee ist, dass ein technisch nicht versierter nutzer die inhalte auf der seite bearbeiten kann über #netlifycms im browser. dadurch werden static site generators für diese menschen zugänglich!
man kann auch ein deployment script auf dem server haben wie https://codeberg.org/swiso/website/src/branch/develop/deploy.php
ich will einfach eine CI nutzen :)

Ooh, @Codeberg just updated to @forgejo version 7 and… *ta daa*, the spurious warnings in the code listings for proper curly quotes and other correct – but sadly underutilised – typographical elements in comments and strings are gone!

@toxi How’s #Codeberg handling issues, PR:s and such?
Ideally any post- #GitHub host would make use of something like #GitBug (https://github.com/MichaelMure/git-bug) or similar to have the issue data live with the code repositories
That and/or do a #Fediverse / #IndieWeb approach and have people publish their issues and pull requests on their own sites / instances and then notify the upstream repository about that. See eg: https://indieweb.org/issue
Is #Codeberg doing any of that?

Good news after unpacking post thunderstorm: The #Codeberg and #Forgejo stickers for the @BOSC #CoFest at #ISMBECCB2025 conference are fine - just some of my clothes that were by the bag zip got damp, but they should dry out for later in the week.
