Digitale Unabhängigkeit: Wie mache ich das jetzt mit Office?

Bevor ich mich digital unabhängisiert habe (das sagt man doch so, oder?), habe ich ja alles über Google gemacht. Also Google Drive mit der Textverarbeitung, Spreadsheets, etc.

Nur nutze ich ja jetzt nichts mehr von Google. Nicht mal die Navigation von Google Maps. Und da Microsoft Office schon seit langer Zeit nur noch mit Abo verfügbar ist, war das eh für mich unbrauchbar. Außerdem laufen Microsoft-Produkte auf meinem Rechner einfach nicht. Liegt wohl an dem freiheitlichen Betriebssystem, das ich nutze.

Jetzt habe ich mir aber mal ein Cryptpad aufgesetzt, das in der „simplen“ Docker-Compose-Installation total easy ein OnlyOffice mitbringt. Was soll ich sagen? Es läuft einfach und frisst nahezu keine Ressourcen.

Kleiner Wermutstropfen: OnlyOffice hat einen ziemlich schlechten Ruf, weil die Finanzierungen des Projekts irgendwie zwielichtig sind und „irgendwas mit Russen“ im Raum steht. Da hoffe ich auf den EuroOffice-Fork.

Hätte ich das vorher gewusst, hätte ich es vor Monaten schon eingerichtet.

In den vergangenen Tagen habe ich an der #Apache .htaccess Konfiguration von #Cryptpad auf der Managed Plattform von #Hostsharing gearbeitet. Ich benutze nun SetEnvIf, um Fallunterscheidungen für die #CSP (Content Security Policies) umzusetzen.

#CryptPad still has a few rough edges:

• opening a new window takes a lot of time, which becomes an issue if your browser likes to aggressively unload tabs (looking at you, #ZenBrowser);
• the Markdown editor lacks proper #LaTeX support. It’s possible to embed a #MathJax code block, but inline LaTeX is impossible;
• the UI is ugly. Especially in dark mode. It does not reflect the great quality of the project, and that’s sad.

Anyway, give CryptPad a try if you haven’t already!

#LiaScript möchte mit seinem zentralen Interpreter offenbar weg von #LMS wie #Moodle und sieht sich selbst als "Open-courSe" -System, das per iframe oder SCORM eingebunden werden kann.

Die #Markdown - Quelldateien liegen dabei bei Github, Dropbox oder Nextcloud.

Ein Moodle-LiaScript-Plugin dagegen gibt es nicht. 🤔 Schade.

Dann bleibt also noch der handgemachte Weg über Javascript:
