Plantilla para Juego de Mesa 2
Sigo redactando por acá los apuntes y las notas sueltas del proceso de la plantilla en blanco para crear un juego de mesa sencillo.
Con el boceto listo me puse a vectorizar. No hubo necesidad de escanear nada pues el sistema de cuadrículas me bastó para saber por donde trazar, sin embargo (como mencioné en la entrada anterior), el hecho de no haber tenido en cuenta que las dimensiones de la hoja no eran exactamente proporcionales al formato A3 me trajo algunos problemas y tuve que ajustar todo sobre la marcha. Al igual que lo hice en papel, me tomé el tiempo de probar otra versión con diferentes medidas y más casillas.
Estuve trabajando media tarde de un viernes y me seguí a lo largo de la noche, para cuando miré el reloj ya eran la madrugada del sábado. Con algo de sueño decidí seguir adelante pues no faltaba gran cosa, si no terminaba en media hora mi plan era detenerme e ir a la cama.
Y entonces… tragedia griega.
Al dar un Ctrl+S la máquina tardó más de lo debido y me di cuenta del freeze, como no respondió a los métodos habituales tuve que apagar todo a la brava. Me sentí mal, pero conforme fueron pasando los minutos me calmé porque recordé que Illustrator tiene un sistema de recuperación. Dejé la máquina apagada, fui a la cocina a beber algo y luego encendí todo de nuevo. Aún así no logré abrir el archivo de ninguna manera, terminó corrupto y perdido para siempre como lágrimas en la lluvia. Me volví a sentir mal.
Afortunadamente, la frustración se fue rápido. Solo quedaban dos cosas por hacer: Dormir o empezar todo de nuevo. Elegí la segunda opción, ¿por qué? bueno, razoné un poco y recordé lo que sucede cuando me pongo a entintar. Entintar una pieza es una tarea que debo realizar de una sentada, si dejo la página, la portada o el pinup para el siguiente día, no es lo mismo. Puedo terminar el trabajo pero ante mis ojos queda claro que las pinceladas corresponden a dos tiempos distintos y el resultado final se ve descuadrado.
En esta versión he ajustado el grosor de las líneas y eliminado algunos espacios intermedios conservando las 40 casillas, aunque se podría prescindir de algunas para ajustar todo de mejor manera.Mi cuerpo estaba cansado pero mi memoria fresca así que recordé con facilidad los trazos de la ruta, como la versión con diferentes medidas y más casillas no me gustó, pues no volví a ella. Lo único que no pude reproducir fue la distribución de las casillas pero el nuevo acomodo resultó mejor que el anterior y dió un número cerrado (40). Terminé en un tiempo mucho menor al anterior y después me fui contento a la cama.
Para respetar los lineamientos del proyecto, la plantilla debe ser sencilla al igual que las reglas (que más bien funcionan como sugerencias de uso); de acuerdo a la información que se quiera utilizar, se pueden modificar y extender para hacerlas tan complejas como se desee. Una de las sugerencias es usar las casillas 5, 10, 18, 22, 28, 31, 36 y 37 como casillas de recompensas o castigos, también podrían ser casillas de opción múltiple. Me extenderé un poco más al respecto en la parte 4 o 5 de esta serie de entradas.
La próxima semana mostraré adaptaciones de la plantilla, algunas pruebas con texto e imágenes, me extenderé un poco más sobre como pienso armar los archivos para la descarga y adelantaré algo sobre dos juegos que ya se están desarrollando con esta plantilla como base.

CW: email client opinions
Switched to #Thunderbird as my main #email client, partly to see what life is like outside of #mu4e . So far I'm very pleasantly surprised.
Adding all my accounts (or at least the 5-ish I actually use) was a breeze, the UI is snappy (#Emacs really should do something about UI latency btw, it occasionally freezes even on my relatively high end workplace workstation), managing spam works much better.
Also the little UX touches, like the (optional, but on by default) confirmation dialog when you send an email with Ctrl-Enter, or the way it warns you if you mentioned an attachment but didn't attach anything... *mwah* *chef kiss*
Will I miss mu4e's query language? Maybe, but since I've given up on high volume mailing lists, I haven't really needed it. And to be honest, I didn't find the query language's syntax all that intuitive.
I do kinda miss mu4e's keyboard shortcuts. :moomin_hmm:
I'm curious to see how well Thunderbird will do on the full-text search front, because there were way too many times when I couldn't find something in mu4e. Although I think mu4e still fares better than #RoundCube.
edit: Forgot my biggest gripe: trying to print PDF attachments from mu4e was a pain. -

Fixes for High CPU Usage (Windows 11)
Restart Your PC: This is the quickest way to clear stuck processes and memory.

O nosso servidor acabou de passar por uma atualização de manutenção (puxamos as correções mais recentes da versão 4.5.9) para deixar o sistema mais rápido e estável.
✨ O que mudou?
O principal destaque hoje vai para a correção daquele bug chato na edição de perfil: o upload da imagem de capa (header) voltou a funcionar! 🖼️✅Antes, ao tentar escolher uma foto nova, a página simplesmente ignorava o arquivo e não fazia o envio. O erro foi esmagado e agora vocês já podem personalizar o visual do perfil sem dor de cabeça.
⚠️ Dica importante: Como atualizamos arquivos visuais, recomendo dar aquela limpada no cache do navegador (um Ctrl+F5 ou atualizar a página pelo celular) para garantir que tudo carregue certinho.
