@ele108 vítá Tě #takylama, jen starší 😉 někdo to přirovnává k #twitter , když ještě nebyl toxický. Díky/kvůli decentralizaci tu nejsou algoritmy, takže obsah do tajmlajny si musíš "odmakat". Ze začátku se to může zdát pracné a tajmlajna mrtvá, ale relativně za krátko si můžeš vypracovat zajímavý základ, na kterém můžeš stavět dál. Na začátek je dobré nabrat nějaké ty sledované a zkusit vyhledat a sledovat i #hashtags které by Tě mohly zajímat. Někdo tu dával i nějaký"startovací balíček". Třeba @archos poradí.

Die Verwendung des Doppelkreuzes (Gatterzeichen) gefolgt von einem Begriff erlaubt, Stichworte bzw. Suchbegriffe zu erfassen. Ja, so ein neumodisches #Hashtag! 😀
Nach diesen Hashtags kann man suchen und (abhängig von der genutzten Serversoftware und Version der eigenen Instanz) diesen auch folgen.

Why can’t mastodon apps on iOS get list scrolling insertion right?! Like both #toot and #feditext will eventually display a call to action button with “load more” once you scrolled far enough. That will be sandwiched between what you just seen and whatever it already had loaded in the past. That button is recognising that you can load content between that interval.
And very often when you click it, they load loads of statuses but instead of keeping you at the top of the fresh content, you will be at the bottom of it and have to scroll up to find where the list of new things start. It is so bad. -

What do you think? Should #mastodon implement friends-like connections too?I personally tend to think this should be left to other platforms. Mastodon is good at offering a place where you can #toot.
Other platforms may offer other "roles" for people to play; friends, or colleagues, or connection types we haven't thought of enabling yet.
By choosing a set of roles, a platform sets the boundaries for a particular culture to develop. The UX should facilitate that culture, in terms of functionality and vibe.

I also really appreciate the -R option to reply the most recent status, making it easy to post a thread. I don't need to for space reasons using GoToSocial, but it's good for the "oh, yeah, and another thing!" followups like this.

Trying out the toot tui for mastodon. Sad to see it's deprecated, but tooi looks like it'll be a great alternative once it's developed a bit more.

O nosso servidor acabou de passar por uma atualização de manutenção (puxamos as correções mais recentes da versão 4.5.9) para deixar o sistema mais rápido e estável.
✨ O que mudou?
O principal destaque hoje vai para a correção daquele bug chato na edição de perfil: o upload da imagem de capa (header) voltou a funcionar! 🖼️✅Antes, ao tentar escolher uma foto nova, a página simplesmente ignorava o arquivo e não fazia o envio. O erro foi esmagado e agora vocês já podem personalizar o visual do perfil sem dor de cabeça.
⚠️ Dica importante: Como atualizamos arquivos visuais, recomendo dar aquela limpada no cache do navegador (um Ctrl+F5 ou atualizar a página pelo celular) para garantir que tudo carregue certinho.
Qualquer instabilidade ou se encontrarem outro bug, é só me dar um toque respondendo aqui. Aproveitem a casa em ordem e mandem ver nos toots! 🚀💙

Some learning takes time: that odd language button in the post field.
As I post mainly in English, it's my default. I never changed it in posts! Did you know that it sets the possibility for your readers to get translations?! And more. I didn't.
Set it to the language of your post! I write German, I change it to German = my English-speaking followers get a translation. I don't do that: no translation service.
