  1. @etbe Yes battery life is short - just around 5 hours if auto suspend is not used. However, I've found that poor battery life is an easy problem to work around with no technical knowledge.

I simply have a charger everywhere (house, car, work) and charge when it's below 50%.

When I can't plug in to a charger, I use those tiny Anker Nano wireless power banks to charge while it's in my pocket or even while I'm using it.

  4. After a month away from Lisbon. And it being a very sunny Saturday, decided to get back on my bike and do a bigger ride than usual :)

And ended up doing 58KM in one day in 3 rides. Which is a new personal record for me.

Going to west of Lisbon along the cost and enjoying the sun, and a couple of the beaches.

Along the way also ended up using #geocluestumbler to submit to BeaconDB.

  6. Currently in #Sweden transporting my remaining elderly parent to one of my siblings who lives in the country.

Waiting for breakfast in a hotel surfing the interwebs using a twenty year old #macbook running #LinuxMint with my internet connection supplied by a #PinePhone Pro running @mobian

My elderly parent is surfing the interwebs on an eight year old @tuxedocomputers laptop running a fresh install of LinuxMint.

Rock solid connection. Fully FOSS solution.

  10. It's not just fun stuff that you can do with linux on mobile phones, like testing out experimental kernels or deal with call daemons.

You can also do "boring" stuff like, doing cliché tourism with #gnome #maps on the phone to guide you, take pictures along the way :)

Parece que es un #PWA (aplicacón web). Entonces debe funcionar en cualquier compu o celu que tiene navegador. Hasta mi #smartpone con #Mobian 😃 Si es realmente así, es muy buena decision del gobierno oriental!

While you are right about the disadvantages of the #Halium approach, I would not dismiss it entirely. Because it's a way to get the beauty of the Linux user space to people who just don't have a #PinePhone, #Librem5, or #OnePlus and can't afford another phone. To have progress in the mobile UI, e.g. #Phosh, it's helpful to have as many devices and users as possible. Halium is not the goal, but a step away from Android, towards #Mobian or #PMOS!
