And now the Competition & Market Authority is getting involved... reviewing whether dentists are utilising long NHS waiting list to raise prices.
Errr... clearly the dentists are causing the long waiting lists by rationing NHS care (albeit due to it not being particularly profitable), so the answer almost by definition is going to be 'yes'.... the actual Q. is what will the CMA actually do?

The rise of authoritarianism is a natural development of neoliberalism, these two things have created the poly-crisis we are in at present. These things feel threatened by the rising awareness of #UnityInDiversity and with it a return to connection we have lost as a result of the domination culture and it's systems of #patriarchalcapitalism & #statesovereignty these two things are struggling to keep going just as we are struggling to identify alternatives. But we are developing them and the tipping point of the new planetary experiment/experience is coming closer. We are on our way home. -

#ReformUK remains popular thanks to a set of rightwing propaganda barrages creating demand for radical responses to alleged crises. The number of unrepentant brexiters still exceeds the level of ReformUK support. In any case, failure is explained away, blamed on #remoaners, immigrants, #trans people etc
Given the intensity of the rightwing propaganda and the abject failure of both Red and Blue Tories, it's amazing that Reform is poĺling at only about 30%, not 70%.

I'm loathe to defend Labour's go slow approach to #TaxTheRich , but let's be fair. We are all still feeling the pain from Truss/Kwarteng's "bold" taxation changes.The big money players are easily spooked. So, like a horse, it's best approached slowly.
Unfortunately, that means the poor are left to suffer the most.
If it were me, I'd make 1-2 immediate actions (eg repeal #TwoChildCap) and let debt rise a bit - adding pressure for new wealth taxes.
