I may be stuck in a rabbit hole or sound like stuck record, but I believe war is in hindsight never (rarely?) just, it is never proportionate. No state or person enters a war "knowing" we will win. Civilian deaths always outnumber combatants. The results of war reach through many future and past generations.
War is no less than state sponsored terrorism. Ergo end #statesovereignty and replace it with a planetary federalism. We need healing not harm, partnership not domination.

The military around the world uses a large majority of the fossil fuel extracted from it. We can tackle the eco crisis only when the wars end. Wars will only end when #statesovereignty ends or is very much reduced.

I get your point and would add a possible solution that has been present for about a century; collective security, an underpinning principle of the league of nations, and then the #UN. One which is undermined by #statesovereignty.

It could still work with a partnership approach to transformation, looking at many possibilities being proposed around the world right now.

The rise of authoritarianism is a natural development of neoliberalism. These two things have created the poly-crisis we are in at present. These things feel threatened by the rising awareness of #UnityInDiversity and with it a return to connection we have lost as a result of the domination culture and it's systems of #patriarchalcapitalism & #statesovereignty these two things are struggling to keep going just as we are struggling to identify alternatives. I agree, I also see many more "leaders" maintaining domination, colonial systems, some less intentionaly than others.
They represent #statesovereignty how could they do otherwise, when they are so deeply enmeshed in the system.
