  1. The military around the world uses a large majority of the fossil fuel extracted from it. We can tackle the eco crisis only when the wars end. Wars will only end when #statesovereignty ends or is very much reduced.
I keep banging on about the same old things because I believe they are necessary.
    #universalJustice #universalEquality #universalEducation #Unityindiversity the end of national #sovereignty & #patriarchalcapitalism.
I don't care what colour your flag or political belief is.
Only when we have a balance between heart and mind will we start to recognise #universaljustice
    #collectivesecurity

  2. Humans have set themselves apart from the universe. We are not really as in control as we think. We're denying and working hard at them. We are distracting ourselves.

In doing so, we procede to traumatise our species and the ecology of which we are a part.
We/I/you have choices we/you/I have decisions to make, and like the adolescents we are, we're afraid of the consequences, but we can face them together through trust & acceptance.

We are developing a future we can be proud to hand to generations to come.

  3. Without a #universaleducation, we will not achieve full human capacity, including #universalequality or #universaljustice
Paulo Freire called it "bank education." The state makes a deposit and then later makes a withdrawal, i.e. tax or canon fodder. Another domination system that needs to be replaced with partnership.

  4. There are many forms of democracy that have to, by definition, be an experiment. Representation has had its day.
I don't need professional politicians; I need an accountable civil service.
    I don't need lobbyists; I need choice.
    I don't need representation; I need a place.
I don't need to be told; I need to be heard.
I don't need divisive tribal politics.
What I need is a fully staffed, well trained, truly independent civil service, guided by peoples assemblies, guided by experience. We can have #Unityindiversity.
"I" can't speak for "others" but "we" can agree, if not we can have a dialogue, there is a way through this and many of the the 99% are experimenting with options. Others are waking up every day and joining the conversation. Many of them are taking action. I am grateful.

  5. "Work" like so many things, which need to stop, in modernity is measured/valued wrongly. It is measured by tax you pay or profit you make therefore adding to the growth(extraction) economy. An aspect of a domination system. I believe we need to replace this with partnership culture and one which recognises and rewards work which develops and maintains a thriving, not just surviving, society.

  6. Unity
A direction or colour of politics causes more division. I realise it is naive to not "talk about politics," but we can talk about it differently in the sense we can not add to that division.
If a conversation subject causes friction, that's ok. It's how we learn and, more importantly, how we learn to think. If that friction is painful, it needs to be examined in a way that supports & develops individual and community growth.
Some people find that investigation of painful experience/emotion at a particular point in life is too difficult. That's OK. It does not mean I agree with the expression of that learning or pain. It may come to a point where I can't be with that person due to that expression.
Acceptance is not agreement. Healing has to begin with recognition.

  7. I have said this before but I believe its worth repeating (probably again and again)...
Let us all stand for #Unityindiversity on a planetary scale, beyond national sovereignty. A now outmoded model of governance & the main barrier to rule of international law. #universaleducation #universalequality #planetaryjustice will develop only when #patriarchalcapitalism and domination systems are replaced with partnership.
Put simply I believe patriotism i.e. pride & connection to the land you choose as yours is good. Nationalism is not the same thing. Why because #Sovereignty is a #myth & barrier to rule of law. States can exist without it & can be #autonomous.

  8. The #sovereign state has to end in order for true human(e)ity to reach it's full potential. This calls for an end to #patriarchcapitalism and domination systems.
Development of #universaleducation #universalequity #unityindiversity these on a planetary scale or it just won't work. So I'll add world federalism as a possible way forward. It's nothing new and many frameworks are in place, including an Earth constitution.

We have to hold on to the commons whilst focusing on cosmolocalism as a step towards system change on a global scale.
Big tech is enclosing the planetary commons as governments have done to their populations and land. We are not their population we are humans and we share this land with all life not resources.

  15. I very rarely see a law protecting the majority, or in this case a 'minority'.
That's why our "leaders" make them, So they can hide behind them. #Justice is for us, the majority to claim.
We need to end representative democracy it has failed. We can have participative democracy through #universaleducation enabling majority voice. Any transformation, change is not enough, has to start with an end to #patriarchalcapitalism. Partnership not domination.

  16. As I have said on numerous occasions represententative democracy as an experiment has had its day. The present rise of extremism illustrates this to my mind.
The majority of humans are more than capable of representing themselves. So I hope we will learn from history and try another democratic process involving #universaleducation
    #universalequality
#universalparticipation would be a step in the right direction.

  17. “Globalised economic development has cut like a knife through our human relationships and through our connections to the living world. Rural communities and smaller towns have been destroyed, as people have been forced to seek employment in urban centres. This, in turn, has led to mass immigration. It has also led to increased time pressures, with people running faster and faster in an ever more competitive economy."byronmagazine.com/news/helena-

  19. @ChrisMayLA6 Echoes of the past can be heard in the problems of the present. The revolutionary notion of democracy was put on hiatus in 1787, and the coup of the oligarchs continues to this day. riverasun.com/oligarchy-as-ame
#WeThePeoples need to stop history repeating itself & learn from it. #Justice #universalequality #universaleducation #UnityInDiversity planetisation is the only future for these things. #patriarchalcapitalism has to end as part of that process.
A possible way forward, no professional politicians, a well trained, accountable, and properly staffed civil service. #Cosmolocalism through peoples assemblies, sortition. To my mind, that is #participativedemocracy
The representative democracy experiment needs to end.

  21. Fascism doesn’t summon hate. It grooms despair. It identifies the wound, and then it infects it. By the time the hunt begins, the scapegoat already believes he’s the shepherd.
This is the point of hierarchy and why patriarchalcapitalism has been the domination system for so long.
Gaslighting like scapegoating is a tool/ weapon of the domination adversarial hierarchical systems. I believe we need to develop partnership working and encourage cosmolocalism. #universalequality #universaleducation

  25. The reaction from governments to the military industrial complex (war economy, predatory capitalism, etc.) has to develop cosmolocalism and #universaleducation developing planetary citizenship and a stewardship paradigm.

  27. It's interesting that politicisation of language causes division. I'm thinking of the term mutual aid, a term coined by Peter Kropotkin in 1902. admittedly, he used it to support anarchist philosophy.
My point is that many of his historical arguments supporting mutual aid also support later work of Indra Adnan & Joanna Macy, to name only two.
Essentially, it could be called cooperation. A key point is it needs to be voluntary as opposed to coercive cooperation (not sure the those two can go together, but you get my point).
Before tooting this I searched Kropotkin & mutual in order to post as a reply, I then realised I would be adding to division. So I will stick with my preferred hashtags; #universalequality #universaleducation #Unityindiversity.
