The Pleiades and Hyades star clusters in Taurus are visible on the Eastern facing star cam on the Subaru Telescope on Mauna Kea. Venus should appear from behind the Keck 1 telescope dome soon. You can already see the glow from the planet. The star cam is very sensitive.

Nice dark sky on the Subaru Telescope Meteor cam right now (14:50 UK time). I saw a nice bright Perseid meteor a few minutes ago.
Jupiter and Mars also visible and in conjunction. Mars just above Jupiter in the centre top of the view.
Orion also prominent. Always looks weird on its side to me. It’s upright here in the north!
The bright star on the left is Capella in the Auriga constellation.

Saturn (centre right near the horizon) and the Andromeda Galaxy (bottom left corner - very faint) are both visible on the Subaru Telescope meteor cam at present. They’ll disappear out of the view soon.

The Milky Way is visible on the Subaru Telescope Meteor Camera right now. Another thing I’ve never seen with the naked eye.
The bright star in the middle of the view is Altair in the Aquila Constellation.
Edit two hours later: The Milky Way has moved out of the camera view now. Due to rotation of the Earth. Tune in tomorrow at 07:00 to 08:30 to see it.
