The galaxy gets its nickname from the parasol-shaped feature to the left. It is a stellar stream made of debris from a tiny galaxy, only a fiftieth its size, that was shredded apart by gravity as it fell into its larger companion.

This was done my favorite way (sarcasm, folks), completely blindly snapping* 17 photos and usually one of them is close enough, then flinging my phone back into the passenger seat and hoping it doesn't go down between the seats. It's not centered, but it's not blurry!
Husband said my obsession over these is one of his favorite of my quirks and I love that so much. I will always fucking love me a good taco cat.

While I wasn't waiting on a part, my Subaru Trailseeker EV was at the dealer for 3 weeks while they were trying to pinpoint the cause of the 12V drain (most likely caused by the data communications module).
By the way, still waiting on them (and Toyota) to figure out a software fix.
They gave me a 2025 Subaru Outback as a loaner. I minimized driving the car not just because of the cost of fuel, but also because the vehicle had been bombarded with cleaning and "freshness" scent bombs.
My hypersensitive sense of smell kicked in hard every time I got in that car.
