Visiting Storm King
We took a little day trip up to Storm King with some friends this past weekend on the most terrifyingly summery day of Autumn.
B seemed to love it. Of what we saw, I think that Calder’s The Arch and Noguchi’s Momo Taro were his favorites. I think he was just bowled over by the scale of The Arch, every time he saw it on the horizon he shouted… -

lots to be thankful for this week for my #3goodthings:
1) Went to #stormking last week with coworkers and led a wonderful plein air workshop
2) the best #KBBQ dinner at Cote with dear friends, followed by #EddieIzzard at Beacon Theater
3) the small, sweet moments with my little kiddo this week, especially before bed or first thing in the morning. -

Wintertide Frost with her two children, also known as the Storm Kids. Before she met Grogar, Wintertide worked with the Storm King after he succeeded in taking over Canterlot. The older son is Storm Burst, the younger daughter is Monsoon Blossom. Both were born out of an agreement for the Storm King to have future heirs to the throne and continue his legacy.
