Just past midnight and still full from dinner I finished 4 hours ago. A rare treat of unlimited #kbbq. Started off thinking 2 hours wasn’t enough time but I was about done after an hour… so so good.

lots to be thankful for this week for my #3goodthings:
1) Went to #stormking last week with coworkers and led a wonderful plein air workshop
2) the best #KBBQ dinner at Cote with dear friends, followed by #EddieIzzard at Beacon Theater
3) the small, sweet moments with my little kiddo this week, especially before bed or first thing in the morning.

Blessed by the in-laws.

Having visitors can be stressful but along with it, some very satisfying eating.

I'll be honest. I think I could have done better -- There are so many stories I couldn't get to, mainly for the fault of my own -- But this has been a heckuva first year for me at the LA Times. Thankful to all those who helped me and onward to 2023...
