Here in our village, all the bus stops are currently being renovated one by one to make them accessible. This is one of the construction sites right now.
The mobile excavator had a lot more hoses and who knows what else attached to its arm.
This time, using the Graphitint pencils by derwent went much better. At home, I spiced up a few spots with the Derwent Inktense.

When I was in Stuttgart with a friend for some urban sketching, I had a bit of time to spare. That’s when I spotted this beautiful "telescopic crane," conveniently positioned for me right below the "Wullesteg" footbridge. However, I was only able to add the watercolor washes to the sketch once I got home.

A quick addendum to our urban sketching session in #Winnenden last week.
The friend needed a little more time to finish his drawing. So I went shopping and did a little #sketch and just left the ink sketch as it was. I probably could have livend up the sketch a bit more with some hatching. But I find that really hard.

My notes on this drawing from yesterday:
"This time, I went #urbansketching with Gerd in the bustling Marktstraße of #Winnenden . I didn't realize until now that this is the Schwaikheimer Torturm.
By the way, finding a parking spot was the biggest challenge today, not the drawing."
The figures turned out especially scrawled this time because my fountain pen went haywire. It kept missing strokes. Could it be because of the 100% cotton paper?

I'm back at home. No more drawings of Dresden for now. I hope, you're not disappointed.
This is a drawing of the Schlosskirche in #Winnenden from May.
In early May, I sang with the Winnender Kantorei in the two performances of Bach's Mass in B minor at the Schlosskirche.
A magnificent work that I love very much.
Then, just for fun, I drew a still life of our well-worn piano scores, a pair of reading glaces and two pencils.

In our village there is a tradition of raising the maypole and dancing into May. It's a great Party that lasts until after midnight.
Two days later, I went there in the evening to draw the maypole.
Yellow and blue are the colors of my village. The 14 guild signs depict the old professions that were formerly practiced here. In fact, there are some that I cannot name with certainty.
