As I made a trip up to the Olympic Peninsula I hadn't watched or listened to any news. If I had I might have found out that a few days prior a fire broke out in BC and the smoke was drifting south.
I turned in from the coast towards Port Angeles and was greeted with this smoke blanketed Lake Crescent.
