Spent some time with the soprano, and later, the tenor (I guess it's Bb day today), working through some early 20th century tonalities discussed in Alex Ross' "The Rest is Noise": diminished seventh, resolving in different directions.
Those Austrian guys sure loved tritones. Gawd I love tenor.
