The Raven: Edgar Allen Poe als House-Experiment

The Raven: Sagt euch Edgar Allen Poe noch etwas? Also aufgepasst und hingehört.

  9. Currently looking into ways to control ableton and reaper using a GamePad.
Anyone know if this kind of thing is even possible at all?

  11. So really, just realising that with voiceover, I can just browse Kontakt presets via up/down arrows, then enter, changed everything. Before, it was super hard to scroll around, find presets I liked, etc.
Result? Noire starts to be my friend, really unexpectedly. When I bought it with complete standard, I was quite disappointed at the first looks of it, the presets having way too many categories that arn't changeable in Ableton, etc. But now? There's so much potential I couldn't see because of that, but which I can now.
I guess keyskape can wait a little more then, haha!

Also wenn man irgendeine Art tanzbare Musik macht.

  18. I've been a little quiet about this for the last week or two but I'm currently in a place where I'm relatively certain I can actually pull it off.
Last year, the #Ableton Live 12 software became ... pretty accessible. First-party #accessibility, particularly in a tool like this, is practically unheard of, so that made a bunch of Waves. (pun somewhat intended).
One of the big gaps that existed, and still exists, is working with so-called Max4Live devices, as well as VST plugins that have a large amount of parameters. Ableton doesn't currently expose these properly to screen readers, and hasn't for over a year now. I'm sure they'll get around to it one day, but I think I can get there faster.
One of my current Patreon projects is a tool I'm calling Enableton, which fixes both of these issues as well as I can fix them.
If this'd be of use to you, have a look over at patreon.com/zersiax at this and other projects I'm working on :)

  23. So I dual boot into #Linux once in a while. If it weren't for #Ableton live, I'd never leave Linux.

As it stands, once or twice a month, I reboot, run "paru -Syu" and wonder why I ever left.

The UI and UX is smoother, snappier and quite frankly easier to use. But then, I reboot again and just won't bother rebooting once more.

But I've also been working a lot lately to get better at sound design and mixing again, so it just is what it is.

And no, Ableton through Wine/Yabridge is not enough.

  28. Here's something I worked on in the Blind Producers Discord today. Used a few samples from @jayladdermusic's new sample pack, and other stuff I played and found on Splice. It's a remix of "Senses" by Mico: youtu.be/rGKXPsuYMlA?si=LYUAzI

Hope you like, was fun to make though I'm not totally happy with the production.
