Haha! Listened back on my phone, that snare has a serious harsh-issue mainly when filtered start and end.
We’ll that’s why we mix with different listening environments in mind :)

Work in progres!
I was trying out working in grid-mode in #bitwig, and it’s not really my thing. I get stuck and can’t see the progression like I’m used to. I’m a very visual person, and sound is no different, and it’s much easier for me to see and visualize what’s going on or what should be going on in arrangermode.
I’m not closed to finished, it needs more layers, fx and transitions. But I like the vibe.
Disclaimer: Dirty mix on headphones, might not translate well.

This is kind of dumb shit, layers of presets on surge xt by inigo kennedy, with 3 of those being with some grain distortion plugin next to it. But it sounds nice. Only peak limiter on master channel.

Discovered this free DAW plugin manager. I've been looking for something like this for a while. I am pleased to say it works really well and clawed back 26GB of space on my internal drive!
It doesn't delete the plugin, but offloads them to another location that you specify (if you like) I moved mine to an external drive. So while one MSQ-100 was actively driving the Juno to play or accompany a song, the other would be loading the next song from the backup tape. 🤞 all went well then by the end of the song, MSQ's would be quickly swapped and so on. How the times have changed 😂 #ableton #bitwig #reaperdaw

#purge #decision After feeling a very big pressure to #unplugbigtech asap, I decided to aim a relaxed switch with no time pressure. 2-4 years maybe? 🙃 Got recently a cheap #Bitwig crossgrade. It's now on my #Linux Laptop and on my #MacBook Pro. If there is no deadline work / a certain goal which requires my #Ableton Live & Apple #MainStage routines, I'll just play around with the alternatives until I have new artwork and new routines. I am looking forward. 🤩

i just gave myself an easter present. since ableton isn't getting their shit together and produce a native linux version of ableton live, i just bought bitwig studio. i got a great deal (valid until 7th of april) where i just had to proof that i bought the latest version of ableton live and got the bitwig studio license for 199€ instead of 399€.

#Bitwig Studio 6 - Alter Stadtverwalter, was für ein gutes Tool. Ich nutze es momentan erheblich häufiger als #cubase - Schon alleine, weil es prima unter Linux läuft und daher auch auf meinem Daily Driver zu finden ist. Mit den drei möglichen Installationen kann ich es auf den zwei Produktionsmaschinen und noch auf meiner "Reiseschreibmaschine" installiert lassen, das ist mega.
Ich habe früher gerne Reasonstudios Reason für das rapid prototyping von Titeln benutzt, jetzt nutze ich Bitwig.

Just discovered this fantastic extension for #BitWig. Will mostly use it to send OSC messages from clips in BW when playing live, allowing me to start/stop patterns and other things in #SuperCollider and #tidalcycles from there. Neat for live sets.
