That symbol is NOT a #sharrow. It’s a #FietsStraat or bike priority street where cars are allowed but are “invited guests” that must behave well by following slowly behind (and not crowding) bikes. Seen here on my tour with #Ghent, Belgium clients in 2019, but they’re also common in the Netherlands.

#Sharrow markings are usually too far towards the centre of the road and people think you have to ride your bike over them. My city has solved this issue! I see no problems with this placement. Nope, none whatsoever. #BikeTooter #urbanism

Lediglich sieben #Sharrow|s (auch an eher suboptimalen Stellen) und nicht mal eine durchgezogene Linie, selbst das war der Stadt "zu viel Schutz" für den Radverkehr.
Zur Erinnerung: das soll eine "Hauptradroute"(!) sein. :-\

@adfc_stuttgart @zweirat0711 @radritterin der Rest des ersten Abschnitts wurde lediglich mit hier und da einem #Sharrow umgesetzt.
Aber dafür hat die Stadt sicherlich ordentlich das Radbudget geplündert und will vermutlich irgendwann mit "der Radszene" eine große Eröffnung feiern und viel Lob dafür haben.

Few stretches of roadway better illustrate the complete moral abdication that is the #sharrow than this stretch of roadway. It's 35mph, cars usually parked solid down the side of the road with plenty of people coming and going so lots of opportunities to get doored, and NO place to go if something goes wrong. Across the street is a busy shopping center with cars jockeying for use of the center turn lane and all too often having to swerve into the right lane to avoid a collision. Being in the right lane at the speed limit in a car is a tight proposition, sharing that lane with bikes courts disaster. #cycling
