Got a new bike! Now I can transport goods with my #cargobike people with my #rickshaw and I have an #ebike for trailers, like my #nomad camper.

#Rausgeschafft für ein bißchen #CarryShitOlympics, auch wenn ein #Brompton nicht wirklich schwierig zu transportieren ist 😇, erst recht nicht auf einem #Lastenrad. Aber beim roten 16" Brompton war eine Speiche locker und das Kabel zum Tretsensor vom #Velospeeder ist wieder mal gebrochen. 🙄 War damit unterwegs zur Selbsthilfe-Werkstatt. Heimzus hat's recht geschifft, aber ich war vorbereitet — nur nicht auf den Dosenlenker, der direkt neben mir durch eine Pfütze gebraten ist. 🤬

Draußen zuhause. 🌲📦 Tourenplanung am Waldrand – das ist mein Verständnis von zeitgemäßem Arbeiten.
Dank gutem Netz ist das "Mobile Office" heute direkt an der frischen Luft. Das Lastenrad steht bereit für die nächste Runde regionale Wertschöpfung. Wer braucht schon Betonwände, wenn man den Schwarzwald-Blick haben kann?

In case anyone else was wondering, the inclined lifts in the Tyne Pedestrian and cyclist tunnel still aren't working.

And judging from the doors at either end, my #CargoBike won't fit in them even when they are running.

#BikeStreak, Day 62 (Saturday): I rode to #WipkiVelofäscht (#Wipkingen Bicycle Festival) and back in the late afternoon. They had a #cargobike exhibition by #HolyCargo (https://holycargo.ch/) and a bicycle parcours for kids which went through a fountain (not filled, but also not dry due to some rain). Met and chatted with two other #Brompton riders. I also became a member of the #ProVelo association (https://www.pro-velo.ch/) at their booth. 6.3km

Had a really nice day taking the kids in the #CargoBike down to South Shields.
A relief to confirm it does fit on the Shields ferry - the conductor slid the door open wider and there was loads of space inside.
We went to The Word and then along the seafront, but got a puncture on the way back! Fortunately, I managed to push it to AS Cycles, which turns out to be a really good old-fashioned shop, and got back on the road in no time, now with a spare inner tube and pump in the bucket.
Getting back up the hill from Tynemouth pier was a struggle, but with the kids chanting "you can do it" (and full motor assist) I did it!
Used just over half the battery, over 30km.
