#Rausgeschafft für ein bißchen #CarryShitOlympics, auch wenn ein #Brompton nicht wirklich schwierig zu transportieren ist 😇, erst recht nicht auf einem #Lastenrad. Aber beim roten 16" Brompton war eine Speiche locker und das Kabel zum Tretsensor vom #Velospeeder ist wieder mal gebrochen. 🙄 War damit unterwegs zur Selbsthilfe-Werkstatt. Heimzus hat's recht geschifft, aber ich war vorbereitet — nur nicht auf den Dosenlenker, der direkt neben mir durch eine Pfütze gebraten ist. 🤬

I couldn't help myself. Framset ordered. Gonna build this one from the ground up. CYC Photon Gen2 motor, DT Swiss rims, a combo of Wolf Creek and Chris King components, either a 3X3 or Rohloff rear hub, Infinite batteries, etc, etc. Estimated 8-12 weeks for the frame to arrive. 😭

Naja also das Teil halte ich ja nun nicht für besonders ergonomisch - weder zum längeren Fahren im #Radurlaub noch zum Wohnen unterwegs. 😉

"#Fahrradwohnmobil" statt #Fahrradwohnwagen sicher int. Ansatz, aber dann eher auf #Lastenrad mit 3 oder 4 Rädern praktikabel.

Gibt ja genügend größere Lastenräder zu kaufen, auf denen man solch ein Fahrradwohnmobil selbst aufbauten könnte. Und wenn man es clever macht, hat man als Fahrer noch #Wetterschutz dabei...

Made 3km of Eco boost last 12.5km on the #bakfiets on today’s school pickups. Only switched the motor on for some starts and slight hills. So glad I didn’t get an #accoustic #CargoBike. Still have the legs to move 200kg all by myself!

Today I spotted what appears to be an electric cargo bike with a petrol generator mounted on the rear rack, humming along quietly!

I wonder if the regulators have thought of that!

Obviously the optimal solution would be installing electric chargers on the street for bike couriers and the wider public, but if the bike is street legal (25kph max motor assist/pedal assist/<250watts) and only charges the battery when parked, is it any worse than the dozens of cars usually sitting in traffic on the street? Not sure what to make of it.
