Während dem Warten auf die Montage des neuen Hinterreifen am Brompton bin ich nebenan bei #FlincCycles https://flinccycles.com/de deren 20" #Cargobike probegefahren. Gefällt sehr, nur ist der Lenker (in der höchsten Position wegen meiner 10% kürzeren Arme) bei 20kg Last vorne drauf dann doch recht am wobbeln, vor allem beim einhändig Abbiegen. Aber ansonsten ist's auch mit Beladung angenehm flink mit der 11-Gang #Alfine.
Und die Baustellenabsperrungen vor dem Laden stimmten mit "WELO" auch fast.

My 4 year old had a choice to ride on a bike for 3 miles in the cold & snow or go by car. She chose the bike.
When we arrived I asked if anything was cold. Her ankles were a little cold– due to anklets instead of full-height socks. That would be easily solved with proper socks in the future.
I have some hope that if children can get beyond the excuse that “it’s too cold to ride”, then perhaps some adults can get over it as well.
