Wärt ihr bereit für eine mobile #fahrradwerkstatt einen Aufpreis zu bezahlen, um die Fahrten im ländlichen Raum mit dem #lastenrad zu ermöglichen? Wenn ja, lieber eine feste Anfahrtspauschale oder einen prozentualen Aufschlag?
Denke da auch insbesondere an die, die selbst (täglich) mit dem Lastenrad unterwegs sind und deswegen Schwierigkeiten haben, es mal eben ein paar Tage in eine Werkstatt zu stellen....

Ich weiß nicht was du unter kalibrieren verstehst - aber man sollte JEDES akkubetriebene Gerät hin und wieder bis zur Abschaltung nutzen und dann auf 100 Prozent voll laden.

PSA: schaut in die Bedienungsanleitung eures #Pedelec s / #Lastenrad s / #Ebike s, ob der Akku kalibriert werden sollte.

Bei unserem war die Reichweite auf 10 km abgesackt, nach Kalibrierung wieder auf 50 km. Empfohlen ist eine Kalibrierung alle 6-12 Monate.

Welcome to th 6th #ShelterChallenge wednesday update:

This time I write about a spontaneous informative shelter building performance at the Transition Town seedmarket and about free to lend cargobikes in Bielefeld...

I am contacting possible cooperation partners and present my masters project "Common Shelter" at local events. I reached one milestone: I successfully completed all necessary seminars at HSBI to start my last semester: From may 2026 I want to have a public shelter construction site as part of my masters project and i want to build real shelters. At the "Transition Town" Bielefeld seedmarket on march the 1st I started small:

I build a shelter model from recycled wood sticks (as shown on the image) and later put it on my info table. There was also a big Infosheet, flyers and a small 3D printed shelter model my lecturer Prof. Edith Kollath gave me as a gift. I had good talks with visitors and people working at the seedmarket that was organized by "Transition Town" Bielefeld.

"Transition Town" is a multicountry initiative for climatefriendly energy and local transformation. In Bielefeld it initiated repair cafés, community gardens and free cargobikes. At their infotable i found an interesting postcard about "Fleet Bielefeld" (in german "Flotte"):

"Free cargo and transportbikes in Bielefeld. Cargobikes, parallel tandem, riksha – the Flotte Bielefeld counts 17 bikes and one folding bike. They are free to use (donation appreciated) – use not own. The Flotte Bielefeld is a network of different cargobike projects and together working for the transformation of traffic." (my translation)

One of my artistic ideas for the shelter construction site is that we together search resources for building and possibly use the free cargobikes to get them... e.g. gifted stones for the shelter legs and old pallets for the sleeping area.

#Sheffield #coffee deliveries on the #cargobike done. Another #puncture though (4th one this year). 46km in about three hours https://www.strava.com/activities/17587682570 which isn't much slower than what the car would have been.

Haven't recorded all the rides this year as there hasn't been many (fair weather cyclists) but an estimate including this one compared to a small sized petrol car is 64kg of #CO2 avoided by travelling by bike (using https://co2.myclimate.org calculator)

Over the year it's usually over a tonne of CO2 (ie 1000kg) saved. Imagine if we built for #bikes instead of cars and how much cleaner the air would be if a few more of us felt safe cycling.

Definitely becoming more of a fair-weather-cyclist as I get older. But with the weather nicer it beats the car.

Our #cargobike is a car-replacement, 32km in an hour and a half converts to averaging 13mph. With stops, that's not much slower than a car but always much more fun.

As always, a few chumps hating on people making better transport choices but haters gonna hate so best ignored.

Hope for more spring days like today so can do more in-house #cycle deliveries.
