Heute bin ich mit meinem letzten Threema-Kontakt zu Signal gewechselt. Mal wieder Synchronisationsprobleme und irgendwie keine Weiterentwicklung. Schade. Ich lasse es mal auf dem Smartphone, in der Hoffnung, dass es irgendwann wieder runder läuft und sich jemand findet, der/die es auch benutzt.

Oh nice. For a test project I installed a #telegram app on a tablet with an empty #adressbook only to find out that it send out that information to obviously every Telegram user that had my number in their adressbook. How illegal...
And that happened BEFORE I could adjust any settings during the setup. I dont think I just missed that, but that is a big fail. It's been a while, but does #Signal do the same? I hate such practice.

Ho scoperto SimpleX Chat, un messenger federato, criptato e che non necessita di nome utente / numero di telefono / identificativi univoci per funzionare.
Non credo sia adatto al grande pubblico, però è un progetto interessante.

Мессенжер без центрального сервера. Умеет работать через "луковичные сети", через Tor. Если нет прямого выхода в интернет - может подцепиться через доступный Bluetooth.Минус - собеседник должен быть в онлайне. Иначе не увидит вашего письма. Но это же и плюс.
2. Signal. Есть для Windows, macOS, Android, iOS.
Любимый мессенжер Сноудена. Шифрование включено по умолчанию, работает сразу. Есть групповые чаты, голосовые- и видеозвонки.Минусы: секретен, но не анонимен. Надо вводить номер телефона.
3. Session. Есть под Windows, macOS, Anroid, iOS.
Анонимный, не надо указывать ни номер телефона, ни почту. Работает через распределённую сеть. Шифрованные протоколы обмена.4. TOX. Есть под Windows, macOS, Anroid.
Полностью децентрализованный мессенжер. Письма ходят напрямую, без серверов вообще. Шифрование из коробки.Минусы: бывают глюки при попытке связи между разными версиями и платформами.
5. FireChat.
Может работать вообще без интернета, выстраивая свою сеть с устройствами, где установлен. Как рация в телефоне, "для своих".
Но это "условно-мессенжер" - для общения групп, а не индивидуальных разговоров.Чем нельзя пользоваться?

The only downside (for many) to using super secure messengers is that they do not require any e-mail address or phone number to register, so the net result often is you have no idea if some of your contacts join later, and they won't see you either.
For XMPP Quicksy allows you to create a separate account on their service with your phone number (if you wish to) and in this way you can be alerted if any contacts join via the Quicksy service.
