    I've been looking at what route LinkedIn has been going on for the past few years, and it's honestly sickening. Been getting a lot of updates about not only the platform in general, but also about the practices that they have been delving into.

    My main problem with LinkedIn is with the identity verification system.

    My friend, Ilia Kuzmin (@rm3g), a senior Delphi developer, just lost his account thanks to LinkedIn because he didn't have the "right" passport. He's been on this platform for multiple years, and has been consistently growing and posting both useful and interesting content over here on the platform – which is honestly a refreshing break from all the AI slop that's been plaguing the platform over the years.

    LinkedIn says that it's not going to restore his account, JUST BECAUSE of his passport, and I find that argument completely ridiculous and racist.

    This identity verification scenario will only get worse as time goes by, and it will not just be LinkedIn at that point. Soon, you might find yourself locked out of your house or even your car just because you belong from a certain place.

    That is not the world I want to live in.

    Delete your official verification from LinkedIn.

    I just did.
