Got motivated to update a #Scouting guide to #Baltimore Historical Trails I began in 2010 from 1970 era paper trail guides, and finding some websites have gone dark, and some still thriving.

@samlitzinger this is so fucked up. And I’m saying this as a person who has set up and oversaw cafes in a rover scout jamboree in Finland where one of the 4 cafes was intentionally LGBT themed, and run by a gay team.
This goes so much against what scouting is I can’t even.

Attended the Scout district's Beavers leaders meeting last night, to plan a sleepover/event for 60+ kids this autumn.
One leader volunteered to organise a scavenger hunt... but then 'declined' to do the associated risk assessment for it (or even just have a stab at it).
So I'm doing it now, despite not really knowing how this person intends for the activity to work.

Unfortunately we spent several of those days in some of the worst air in the world.
