Every year we go to the Big Island to visit family; the Island is one of those special places for me that is just so picturesque with its vibrant flora and fauna! So I thought I’d share my photos from this year’s trip (during New Year’s!) with you here.

Day 3b: Hiking toward the Puako Petroglyph Archaeological Preserve…
Along the Kohala Coast, the 223-acre Puakō Petroglyph Archaelogical Preserve boasts more than 3,000 ancient petroglyphs, or kiʻi pōhaku, lava rock carvings etched into stone, dating back to 1200 AD. (source)

But wait - 2025, we're not quite done with you yet! Let's look back once more on all the fun The Confused Greenies of Players' Patchwork Theatre Company had this most recent trip around the sun!
Though we did not stage as many performances or travel to as many places as the prior year, what we did was majestic including our first commedia dell'arte pastorale historic fantasy style plays and our first fully staged reading, a sudden and unexpected giant whale, and then wrapping up with writing dozens of new three-act scenarios for future productions!
This year was tough in many ways and stressful. But it's always been our goal to make the world better one laugh, one smile at at a time!

Who are forced to rot behind bars for months at a time, forced to leave to wherever authorities decide they are “supposed to be”. Let’s show those who are forced to be in there that there are people who haven’t forgotten about them.
In between The Hague and Rotterdam, there is a prison meant for people who the state deems unwelcome in this country. Join us! For a march around this horrible place.

On New Year’s Eve, the last day of Sir Gawain’s stay at Bertilak’s castle, Lord Bertilak hunts an elusive fox named Reynard — a reference to a trickster character from a popular series of medieval beast tales.
I assume Reynard is also the inspiration for the talking fox in the Green Knight movie, which isn’t named and which Bertilak captures and releases, so it can warn Gawain to run from his fate.
