This weekend was a rather interesting one. Propagation was not what I expected, but I got a very good about of contacts! Over 50 this weekend! I guess the incoming solar storm is affecting things a bit. Hey, I'll take it, I got a whole mess of new POTA parks, so it's a win for sure!

Activated Minute Man today with my new LDG Z-100A tuner on the FT-891. It was easy to use with my Rybakov, which is great for DX. I made contacts on 20, 15 and 10 meters, including Spain, Italy, France and Austria. I share my setup, including the FT-891's LAMP tuner setting.

Today's Minute Man activation also got me BKG700 from a 2m CW QSO with AA1N.

@unicycle I don't have a boat, so I'd definitely have to depend on a buddy. This would be a fun way to try out a dual-operator CW #POTA — which I think should be more of a thing. 😁

Some ops will be confused, but that's only going to be fixed if more of us do this! 🙂

As long as we both spot ourselves the same, we should show up for at least ham2k users as a single combined spot to help them realize it is a dual op setup, just like with multi op SSB.
