You can also do the same on multiple platforms using a Social Media Manager.

Here is #QasimRashid with over 44K followers, advertising on Mastodon.Social a closed source commercial competitor to Mastodon on his Mastodon feed.
If this isn't SPAM, I don't know what is.
I complained about it on his post. I wasn't the only one. But he blocked me. It's his feed, his account, his right. But it still sucks.
The issue here is that he's using a large whale account to advertise his private closed source phone app - without even any privacy statement! - ON MASTODON.
