Trying out a gel gloss medium to replicate #sweat so that it looks like somebody just kicked off their #sneakers & have wet #socks from marching in the #PrideParade and left wet footprints on the flooring.
I’ve got more to do but don’t want to continue until I know this has worked & is well dry.

SWANSEA: Everything you need to know about Swansea Pride 2026 — parade route, road closures and what to expect on Saturday
Swansea’s most colourful celebration of the year is almost here. Swansea Pride returns on Saturday 16 May, and as always it’s completely free and open to everyone.
The parade sets off from Wind Street at 11am, heading along Oxford Street and St Helen’s Road before finishing at the Guildhall on Guildhall Road South. The route is marked on the map above — if you’re planning to watch, Oxford Street and St Helen’s Road are your best spots to line up.
Drivers should be aware that there will be rolling road closures along the parade route between 10:30am and 12:30pm. Plan your journey accordingly and allow extra time if you’re heading into the city centre that morning.

If you want to get out of the sun or explore what the wider Pride community has to offer, head inside the neighbouring Brangwyn Hall where the Swansea Pride Community Zone will be running throughout the day. There you’ll find information stalls from organisations, support services, charities and community groups, as well as some craft traders.
Swansea Pride is organised independently and supported by Swansea Council. It has grown steadily in recent years into one of the city’s most well-attended annual events, drawing people from across Swansea Bay and beyond.
Whether you’re a first-timer or a Pride regular, Saturday promises to be a brilliant day out. The forecast is looking dry with sunny spells — so dig out your best outfit and get involved.

"This year, Membertou hosted the popular #DragQueenBingo event, the Membertou pedway was lit up in Pride colours, the flags at the #MembertouHeritagePark were swapped for #LGBTQ flags and there was a Membertou float in the #PrideParade.
"Jeff Ward, manager of the heritage park, said participating in Pride events is something the community connects with.
"' 'As traditional people, we know how it feels to go underground and have our ceremonies hidden,' he said, pointing to how revisions in the Indian Act in 1951 removed a ban on ceremonies.
A personal connection
"Andrea Dennis works at the heritage park. She said staff secured #TwoSpirit flags for the first time and people have been snapping them up.
"Two-spirit is a term sometimes used by #IndigenousPeople to describe #gay, #lesbian, #transgender or #NonBinary people. The flag has two feathers on top of the traditional rainbow pattern.
"Dennis said her brother, who is dead, was two-spirit. She said when he first came out, he was harassed. Her brother moved to Toronto, but he was still harassed.
"She believes things have changed for the better.
" 'His spirit is still alive in me,' said Dennis. 'Even going to a Pride parade reminds me of him, it's like he's still there.' "

The annual Amsterdam Pride Canal Parade was about to set sail, so I put on my Pride of LGBT tartan kilt, and headed to Amsterdam, to run the Amsterdam Hash House Harriers' "Gay for a Day" trail again, and of course watch the parade!
