He won't elaborate on the racist claims because there are none. "Monkeys" isn't a slur used anywhere in Irish society — it's a colonial-era term aimed at indigenous peoples, and having suffered centuries of British colonial rule ourselves, we have no use for it. Ireland has its own slurs, like every country, but not that one. Those making the accusation don't know this — which is why it's a lie.
