We have a lot of folks who avoid paying bus fare which annoys some folks who pay but like… if someone can’t pay and needs to get somewhere, especially in -40° winter. No worries for me. I can pay so I will. All good so long as everyone is being respectful.
Drivers are told not to press the matter. Safety and all.
But I do really respect the drivers that ask people to say please if they’re going to skip fair. Least anyone can do is be polite.

Land of living skies, indeed.
#Today was a nice mild day with a bit of rain in the evening.
I started recording audio for my book. In a normal world I’d get it off to printing and use the downtime to record instead of trying to cram it in, but last time I had noticed some small too-late errors while recording, so this also turns into my last editing pass.
Took a nice long walk this evening. Now to chill for a bit.

Much Ado About Nothing performed by Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan was such a genuine delight. I laughed so hard.
Really well done and highly recommend folks go see it if they can. Just joyful.

Working from home #today
Needed to step back from the office for a day and sneak in a little extra sleep without the commute.Excited for this evening. Going to Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan. It’s an annual event where they perform a comedy and a tragedy on an outdoor (tented) stage over a few weeks each summer.
Going to Much Ado About Nothing starring a fellow I went to uni with and Audra did a touring puppet show with ages ago. Should be a good time!

Work was crazy busy today but I got through.
Hung out at my partner’s studio to get in a chapter edit and the. I took the long bike ride home. It was lovely out! Really cool view of the weir.
By the time I got home I felt like I still had a lot of momentum so I squeezed in a few chores.
I am now exhausted. And it’s only Wednesday.
