The album illustrates an ongoing lifeform-type-of conversation nkls and i have since several years about miniatures.
It's as brief and as pure as it can get, the pieces are transmutational and work without any additional deliberate listener pleasing (such as concert reverb ;)

Typically I'll modulate the phase of the sine along with shoving it through one or more distortions/waveshapers. I probably used the Terci Ruina, but I honestly don't remember. As for the filter, I think (but again, don't actually remember; I need to take better notes) it was the #WMDevices #C4RBN but it could have been the Wasp -- those are where'd I'd reach for acid, generally speaking.

Might carve up the first a bit and incorporate it's best moments in the album release, but take No. 2 is definitely where it's at.

My fellow #RPMChallenge friends! How's your #album coming? I am documenting my own, after a fashion, in my #PatchAWeek coverage. This year I'm building a new performance patch in #modular every week, performing it a few times, and recording the final version and releasing them. Someone on the RustAudio discord implemented a bowed string oscillator, which I adapted for HexoSynth. Thanks go to tubonitaub (aka Alec Deason) and the Ortetproject. It's a fickle little node, but can give you some interesting sounds.
