@ashnoodle Interesting. I am not sure there are notes on there regarding PGS. I *did* do a series of extensive threads here on Mastodon that I intend to make into a page over there, but I haven't gotten to it.
The best way to find it is to search the #PsychedelicGhostStories hashtag here and then scroll down until you find the posts also tagged with #ProductionDiary -- sadly, afaik, there's no way to limit the search to posts that have both.
I will make a page at some point, just haven't yet.

Progress has been slow, but I am chipping away at it, bit by bit. It's definitely going to be recognizable as a follow-up to #PsychedelicGhostStories but it's going to be a pretty significant departure at the same time -- more exploration and emphasis on harmonic structures, and I'm attempting to use space a little more effectively on my arrangements -- it doesn't have to be so *dense* all the time!

If I can convince just one person to blow off their chores, eat an edible, and lie down in the dark with headphones on listening to my album, today will be a great success.

If you've got 7 minutes and a penchant for trippy musical journeys, have I got a treat for you! It's "The Madman Drowns In the Same Waters In Which the Mystic Swims with Joyful Ease."
Quite a mouthful of title, I know (it's a bastardization of a Joseph Campbell quote), but I think it fits. Give it a listen and let me know what you think.
#Boosts always appreciated!

My music starts in all kinds of places. This one started with the title, "Psychedelic Ghost Story," which was a phrase that popped into my head and got written down in my little ideas book. I loved the way it sounded but didn't know what it meant... Until I remembered rumors from the early days of drug culture that a drug existed that granted or enhanced psychic powers...a drug that allows you to see ghosts? I'm in.

I love #techno, but for whatever reason, I've never really wanted to *make* techno. Occasionally I do sidle up to the general area techno inhabits and explore a bit...like on "New Machine Gods for a New Machine Age" which features techno tempos, intensity and themes...but isn't techno. That said, I think it could be remixed into an honest-to-god techno banger (if anyone wants to try...). Or maybe it's techno for people who don't like techno?

A cool thing as an older artist is you have a lifetime of cool experiences to draw from for inspiration... This song is not just a celebration of the greatest movie #monster of all time (zombies, of course) but also a direct reference to part of my past, sharing its name with a website I ran for more than a decade that made me internet famous, got me a couple jobs and a spot as an expert in a documentary. And now a cool song!

With the next #BandcampFriday rapidly approaching, let me take a moment to ask any of my followers who haven't yet checked out my music to take a minute and listen to a song or three! Lots of weird sounds and wild rhythms!
Oh, and after you listen, how about a boost?

Discomfort and unease wrack your body. Weird images flicker on the edge of your vision. Your mind races, beset by alien ideations and uncomfortable imaginations. Don't fret though-- there's nothing to do but relax into it as "Something Strange Struggles to Be Born"

Sleeping poorly? Daily concerns, worries and anxieties pushing their way into your dreams? We've all been there, and I wrote some music about it. This track is called "The Waking World Pushes Its Way Into Dreams."
https://etherdiver.bandcamp.com/track/the-waking-world-pushes-its-way-into-dreams
Have a listen and see if you don't sleep easier afterwards... Then give it a boost, maybe.

So I don't suppose five of you reading this have six minutes or so to listen to this track and let me know what you think? It's the climactic track of the album! It's based on a William James quote! It's real weird!
Oh, you could also give me a boost!

Recording new material! So how about you listen to this old song (title track of my last album), and let me know what you think?
https://etherdiver.bandcamp.com/track/psychedelic-ghost-story
Any feedback, from conception and composition all the way to the mix and mastering is welcome!
Please boost! But listen first 😅

I'm recording new material so it's time to get feedback on older material! I need five people to listen to this song:
https://etherdiver.bandcamp.com/track/the-inscrutable-oracle-of-the-night-cafe
And offer any feedback you have. Practice those #MusicReview skills! Get better at #critique! Just vent for a bit!
I'll take feedback on everything from the conception and composition of the track to the mixing and mastering.
If you can't listen, consider a boost? Or... Both!?!
