Bad news: Two hole saw kits and neither is complete enough to get the job done.
Good news: Menard’s has premium hole saw stuff.
Bad news: Despite a lot of drills, apparently none that are cordless AND accept 1/2 inch bits.
Good news x2:
1. Can’t do the job that I didn’t want to do.
2. I have an excuse to buy yet another Ryobi thing. Weee! -

Every time I look for something on [insert big box home store here]'s website in order to go get today, it's always something I have to order. Rare is the product that I need that, God forbid, is in stock at a local location. I can't think that what I want is so obscure that they don't want it taking up valuable space at their 50,000 sq ft facility. Is it too much to ask? I'm a simple man. I'm not asking for much. All I ask is to be able to find my need, drive to said store, and bring my item of choice home on the same day. No questions asked... except in which aisle I can find it. But NO. I can't have it today. My instant gratification is left wanting AGAIN.
I say NUTS TO YOU, BIG BOX STORE. I will have to LIVE with your inadequacies AGAIN! TYVM.

Well, we just picked up the *15 gallons* 🤯 of laundry detergent / softener combo I ordered during a Menard’s flash sale.
I sure hope it smells good. Also hope it doesn’t ruin our clothes. Or, ya know, give us hives 😂
Any guesses on how long this supply will last us? Two adults, a newborn and a teen who splits his time between parents.
Will update the thread over what I imagine is years… 🙃

Inspired by the #hoocho video yesterday I went to #menards and took a swing at the idea. I tried to stick to using only what came with the mason jars, the tubing, and simple hand tools. I only added in the net cup in the middle as a refill point...a funnel would make a better choice.
Next up ....set up the star topological all hydroponically kratky refillable hoocho inspired glass garden.

The #US government should make a law that bans companies from using "made in the US" as a selling point if the product is trash, like a lot of stuff I've seen at #Menards. There should be a minimum quality level required by law, along with #environmental and #worker protection stuff as product requirements.

Two of the donors have Wisconsin ties, according to the story. They are John Menard of the Menards hardware chain, and Diane Hendricks, who runs ABC Supply in Beloit.
