  1. Made Christmas #dinner a day late, all by myself for the first time. Usually hubs helps but he ended up needing more sleep than expected and was busy assembling some Alex ikea drawers for our daughter when he managed to crawl out of bed lol. I did good! My youngest son declared the Mac and cheese the best he’d ever had. Turkey and Mac cheese were out from our trusty #altonbrown recipes. #food #holidaycooking #holiday #yum 🍽️

  2. In my family, the traditional dinner from Christmas Eve to New Year's Eve, or whenever the salad runs out, is red herring salad made according to my grandmother's recipe. It's a special occasion meal, because it's very time-consuming to make. #FoodToot #HolidayCooking

  3. Hey! It's #SmallBusinessSaturday ...that means you can take 30% OFF your order today with code: SB30

Don't miss it! Get on over to hotsalts.com and spice up your #HolidayCooking!

  10. Almost time to get started cooking.

Still at the stage of having all the incredients spread out on the counter and staring at them out of the corner of my eye.

If all goes according to plan, the two of us will have leftovers 'til Friday. Perhaps, if I'm feeling frisky, I may attempt some baking tomorrow; but, otherwise, I'll be off-duty until Saturday.

  14. I'm so glad that a couple of years ago I discovered parchment paper for baking. No more greased cookie sheet and the awful cleanup for me! Why didn't I learn about this miracle sooner? #HolidayBaking #HolidayCooking

  15. Ok Pfeffernusse are done. The recipe says it makes 240 but I only got 94. They must make them dime-sized or smaller to get to that number! #HolidayBaking #HolidayCooking
