Dreading the Thanksgiving week massacre of millions of innocent green beans.
It's not bad enough they are plucked in the prime of their delicious little lives, but to have to be made into nassssty, gloppy, gummy, greyness of green bean casserole on a million or more holiday table is just cruel beyond measure.

This is one of our Christmas Eve ritual that I make, often alternating with a baccalà filling instead of ricotta.In addition to the ricotta cheese, there’s also parmigiano reggiano, parsley, white pepper, and nutmeg.
The pasta is baked in my homemade tomato sauce.
