Mostly the start of a piece begins with a simple idea sketch this will be translated to a 3d form that's satisfying. But as quick as possible I will translate the model to actually foam model. So you can really see what you are doing by cutting or adding volume in real life. Here some images of the model from the 'love boat' wedding anniversary gift.
