After seeing the Art Brut exhibition at the Grand Palais in Paris in 2025, I began to focus more on automatic drawing on sheets of A4 paper. The format and method allow me to work without worrying about costs, materials, space, or the outcome. This freedom makes some of these compositions particularly intense.

I spent a year making daily self portraits with ballpoint pen. I am assembling an art book with the images + related watercolor paintings. Finally started scanning in the images. January is scanned. 1/12 of the way there!
