Bit the bullet and got the #Affinity suite. Mainly because that while I love the #FOSS tools I have been using since I cancelled my #adobe package, there is some functionality missing there that has made my work processes slower and more difficult.

Plus the black week price on the Affinty V2 universal Licence package was pretty damn good.

Any #Fedtips for someone who is a complete noob to Affinity, but who is pretty well versed in #Photoshop, #Krita, #Inkscape, #Illustrator etc?

Okay. So I just learned that you can't delete the old, error ridden post after you edit/fix it: you delete the entire thing, old and new.

Jetzt frag ich mal in die Runde: Welche Möglichkeiten gibt es alles, um einen RSS-Feed ins #Fediverse zu bekommen? Einen, der zu lang für #Mastodon ist!

Probiert habe ich u.a. #Friendica (da will er nicht, evtl. ist der Feed nicht korrekt, ich kann den aber nicht ändern) & feedsin.space (da kann ich den Account nur mäßig individualisieren und der postet URLs nicht als Links).

Es geht um den #heiseBot, der auf über 500 Zeichen und mehrere URLs kommt. Den gibt's jetzt nämlich per RSS. #FedTips

Did you know that you can curate your feed by creating lists, featuring specific profiles, setting alerts for specific profiles, muting, blocking, etc? Go to your settings and see all these wonders and more!

similar to tweetdeck, if you ever used that.

you can pin columns to the interface to keep multiple feeds going side by side

so you don't need to follow the #design hashtag, you can just #explore it, then pin it to the interface so it doesn't need to be in your home feed.

thanks for posting this, i didn't realize the federated feed was as limited as this, i thought it was global.

this tells me you DO want to be on a larger server, so you can see more in your feeds.

does this work the same with hashtags like #fedtips ?

Add your rel=me link FIRST

THEN add the site to your profile and save!

This kicks off a scrape request right then and there, much quicker (potentially instantaneous depending on your server) verification!
